Oilfield Fracturing Parts: Recent Industry Brief

Domestic fracturing equipment exports keep rising. Orders for high-pressure manifold packages, swivel elbows and hammer-union accessories are growing in the Middle East, Latin America and Central Asia. Overseas buyers focus on integral forging materials, hydrotest reports and NACE sour-service readiness; many prefer factories that can customize bore sizes and reducers, and require third-party inspection reports as core credentials.

Fracturing jobs continue to move to higher pressures. Share of 20,000 PSI manifolds, crosses, tees and long-radius elbows is rising on site. Cast fittings see more burst/leak failures, so operators prefer 4130 integrally forged parts. Low-pressure nylon hammer unions should be limited to non-fracturing auxiliary lines.

Overseas buyers no longer look only at unit price: stock availability, fast replacement of damaged parts, material certificates and pressure-test records are must-ask items in RFQs. 4130 alloy steel prices fluctuate narrowly while forging labor costs rise; finished HP fitting prices stay relatively stable. Falling ocean freight supports Chinese fitting exports.
