Air Grip Union
Inflatable air-grip union for tool-free low-pressure mud-tank and hose-to-pipe connections — not for HP fracturing.
Quick answer
Air-grip union for mud tanks: inflate to seal, deflate to release — LP large-bore only, not for fracturing.
Key facts
- Product type : Oilfield fitting
- Application : Fracturing / cementing / wellhead
- Country of origin : CN
Air-grip (air-operated) union seals by inflating a rubber air bladder against the inserted pipe. Lock by inflation and release by deflation — no hammering or bolts. Used on mud tanks, cementing units and LP mud lines.
Steel shell welds to tank or pipe; replaceable natural rubber or NBR bladder. Pipeline medium max ~0.4 MPa; inflation 0.4–0.8 MPa; sizes 4"–20". Allows moderate misalignment.
Low-pressure large-bore service only. Protect rubber from sharp debris. Operating temperature typically −45°C to +90°C.
