Pressure Relief Valve (Safety Valve)
Spring-loaded forged 4130 emergency relief valve that opens at set pressure to protect fracturing manifolds, pumps and personnel.
Quick answer
API 6A/16C forged pressure relief valve, spring ball-seat, 10–15k PSI — protects fracturing manifolds and pumps.
Key facts
- Product type : Oilfield fitting
- Application : Fracturing / cementing / wellhead
- Country of origin : CN
Emergency pressure relief (safety) valve uses a one-piece forged 4130 body and spring-loaded ball-seat sealing. It opens automatically above set pressure and reseats when pressure falls, protecting HP manifolds, fracturing pumps and crews.
Ends: FIG1502/2002 hammer union, thread (UPTBG/LP/NPT) or API 6A flange. Adjustable set pressure; field-replaceable ball-seat and seals. NBR standard; FKM for NACE MR0175 sour service. API Spec 6A and API 16C.
Typical size 2"–3"; working pressure 10,000–15,000 PSI; temperature class PU (−29°C to +121°C). Used on fracturing/cementing manifolds, pump outlets and test lines.
